Co-Founder and CEO of Marrero Armor and is internationally recognized as being a premier self-defense and hand-to-hand combat instructor. During his highly decorated combat career in the US Marine Corps, GySgt. (Ret.) Marrero served jointly as Chief Instructor of Hand-to-Hand Combat for the U.S. Marine Corps at Parris Island and brings his tactical experience to the design of our products.

He is considered a world leading expert in Close Quarter Combat and is well known throughout the US and international law enforcement agencies due to his extensive work in anti-terrorism tactics instruction which includes Special Operations Groups such as US Marine Recon, Delta Force, Navy SEALs, Army Rangers and has trained instructors in over 100 different countries. Over the last 20+ years, Hans has trained over 65,000 law enforcement and military personnel as the Chief Instructor for Axon/Taser International.

Co-Founder and President of Marrero Armor. A retired US Marine LtCol. and combat decorated aviator flying both the A6-E Intruder and the F/A-18 Hornet over a span of twenty years.

Previously, as VP for AXON (formerly Taser International), he led engineering, manufacturing and sales & marketing teams in the development and launch of numerous products. Post Taser, Brian embarked upon an entrepreneurial path which led to being a founding member of Achilles Technology Solutions (ATS) which later acquired Material & Electrochemical Research Corp. (MER) and founded 

ATS Armor LLC. As the COO of ATS Armor, Brian led the design, development, sales and manufacturing of NIJ certified industry leading ballistic protection products.
